Is ADSL available in my area?

ADSL services are subject to availability at the local telephone exchange and may be subject to a BT survey. Please telephone Hobbs Parker on 01233 220 950 to find out if ADSL is available where you are.

Do I need a BT line to put ADSL on?

Installation requires the presence and continued operation of a standard telephone line. It is possible to convert an existing ISDN2 line, if necessary.

Is there a minimum contract length?

Minimum contract term is twelve months.

Is the speed guaranteed?

ADSL is provided as a contended service. Home 500 is contended at 50:1 and all the business connections are contended at 20:1. Capacity is shared between service users and speeds may fluctuate at busy times and therefore are not guaranteed.

Can I use ADSL for email?

Each ADSL connection comes with a free email address if required and we can supply web hosting facilities in addition. Please call us on 01233 220 950 for further details.
